The Bait

The comforting beauty of geometry, contrast, the precise cut made by mankind. Shame on us. The skin, the fat, the soft and the depths know nothing about that.

During a project in Eye Filmmuseum, Amsterdam, I had the opportunity to search their archive of digitalized films. By typing solely “underwater” I submerged myself into an ocean of images. With a selection of film fragments I made a short experimental film that was presented in the museum.
